Ordering & Customization

How long will my order take?

Our sofas are handcrafted to order in Dallas, TX, and Los Angeles, CA. Once your sofa leaves our manufacturing facility, delivery typically takes 7-15 business days. We provide an estimated delivery window on your order confirmation. If you live in a remote area, delivery may take slightly longer due to specific routing schedules.

Can I customize my sofa?

Yes! Our semi-custom approach allows you to choose from:

  • 6 sofa styles (Avignon, Florence, Giverny, Granada, Ravello, and Seville)
  • 3 width options (85", 90", and 95")
  • 24 Indian-inspired floral fabric options named after famous gardens

Do you offer fabric samples?

Absolutely! We strongly recommend ordering fabric samples before making your final selection. Samples show the true color, pattern scale, and texture of our fabrics and help ensure your choice works perfectly in your space. Order Samples >

What if my sofa needs to fit in a tight space?

Our manufacturing process allows for a 1-inch margin when measuring your furniture during inspection. We recommend allowing for a 2-inch margin when ordering furniture to fit a tight space or an inset wall to ensure proper clearance.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Because each sofa is custom-made for you, we begin production immediately after your order is placed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes. Once production has begun, modifications may not be possible.


Shipping & Delivery

How will my sofa be delivered?

White Glove delivery service is included with your purchase for $249. This includes:

  • Professional delivery team
  • Room placement in your choice of location
  • Unpacking and removal of packaging materials
  • Basic assembly (attaching legs)

How will delivery be scheduled?

Once your sofa reaches the local delivery warehouse and the reception process is completed, they will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. Delivery appointments are generally scheduled Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm, with a 4-hour window typically provided at the time of scheduling or within 24 hours of the delivery date.

Should I be home all day for delivery?

While our delivery partners are expected to provide an update when they are approximately 30 minutes away or with any changes to your scheduled appointment, we recommend being available for the full day in case of unforeseen delays or changes to the delivery schedule and route.

How is my sofa packaged and shipped?

Our sofas are packaged with the utmost care and shipped from our factory via large truck to a local delivery warehouse nearest you. The first part of your furniture's journey takes approximately 5-10 business days. Once it arrives at the local destination, the reception process begins, and you can expect the scheduling team to reach out within 1-3 business days.

What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver to the continental United States. Delivery timeframes may vary based on location, with remote areas requiring additional time due to specific routing schedules.

Does my sofa arrive fully assembled?

Most of our furniture ships fully assembled (frames) with the legs detached for safe transport. All sofas require quick and easy leg assembly upon delivery.


Construction & Materials

What materials are used in the frame?

Each frame is handcrafted with precision using either engineered 7-ply wood framing or solid kiln-dried alder wood framing. Our frames use FSC-certified wood from responsibly managed forests. Frames are joined with corner blocks, industrial staples, and low-VOC glues, and we consciously work to reduce waste and recycle materials whenever possible.

What type of suspension system do you use?

The suspension of each frame is constructed with advanced unidirectional webbing securely fastened to the frame, offering long-lasting support and comfort for your furniture.

What type of cushions do you use?

Our standard cushions provide a firmer, more supportive feel and a structured look. These cushions feature a premium high-resiliency foam core wrapped in Dacron for both the seat and back cushions. All cushions are TB-117-2013 compliant and free of flame-retardant chemicals.

What is Trillium fiber fill?

Trillium is a premium micro denier fiber fill that mimics the characteristics of natural down but is entirely hypoallergenic—you'll never have to deal with escaping feathers. We've found Trillium to be more resilient and supportive than down/feather, while also being more eco-friendly and sustainable.

What fabrics do you use?

Most of our floral fabrics are 100% cotton sourced from responsible textile mills. We hand-select our fabric collections from the world's leading textile manufacturers.

Can cushions be flipped and rotated?

Yes! All cushions are fully upholstered with zipper closures and can be flipped and rotated for easy maintenance, helping extend the life of your sofa.


Fabric Care & Maintenance

How do I clean my cotton floral fabrics?

Our 100% cotton fabrics are natural, durable fibers that require gentle care:

Regular maintenance:

  • Vacuum with an upholstery attachment regularly
  • Rotate and flip cushions periodically
  • Address spills immediately by blotting (not rubbing)

Spot cleaning:

  • Use mild soap and warm water for most stains
  • Test the cleaning method on an inconspicuous area first
  • Blot gently; avoid rubbing, which can damage fibers
  • Allow to air dry completely

Professional cleaning: We recommend professional upholstery cleaning for deep stains or annual maintenance to keep your sofa looking its best.

How do I maintain my cushions?

To keep cushions looking their best:

  • Fluff and rotate cushions regularly
  • Flip cushions periodically to ensure even wear
  • Keep furniture away from direct sunlight to prevent fading

Quality & Warranties

What warranties do you offer?

  • Limited Lifetime Warranty: Guarantees the framing and suspension of our sofas to be free from manufacturer's defect for the useful life of the product
  • One-Year Warranty: Covers fabric and cushion resiliency against manufacturer's defects

What's covered under warranty?

In the case of a manufacturer's defect, Marigold Furniture will provide replacement parts, repair, or a full replacement. This warranty is applicable to the original owner and original delivery address only.

What's not covered under warranty?

Normal wear and tear, pet damage, cuts or burns, damage from misuse, and modifications made to furniture by the customer (including third-party legs) are not covered and may void the warranty.

How do I file a warranty claim?
